'I found something disgusting in my Vinted parcel - seller's reaction stunned me'

A woman has been left gobsmacked after discovering something disgusting in her Vinted parcel - but says the seller's response made up for it. The woman explained how she bought a gym set on the online marketplace - but never expected the parcel to include a wax strip of a stranger's unwanted hair.
Grossed out, the woman contacted the seller through the platform to complain, saying: "Thanks for my order! Wasn't expecting the used wax strips though." In response, the mortified seller said: "Omg! I am so sorry! My daughter cleaned her room and must have used one of those bags. I can't believe they were in there.".
The buyer also explained how the seller sent two different sized items, meaning she isn't able to make use of them. Wanting to make up for her mistakes, she ended up offering her a full refund and couldn't be more apologetic about the situation. She added: "I don't want any of it back. I'll refund you, lovely. Keep it and sell it on. I'm absolutely mortified." Thankfully, the buyer was able to see the funny side to the situation - and even felt bad for the seller's unfortunate mishap.
The buyer added: "Don't worry" Honestly if both sizes fitted, I'd just have kept it without clicking there's an issue. I assumed something like that had happened." Speaking about the wax strips, she added: "I thought they were teabags in the corner of the parcel at first. Please don't stress, these things happen! Honestly it gave me a chuckle. I have enough of my own hair though.".
Shortly before receiving her refund of £8.44, the seller thanked the woman for her understanding and for not reporting her for the issue. She added: "I appreciate you have a sense of humour. I'm quite sure I could get banned for sending you body hair. Maybe this is a thing on OnlyFans? I maybe on to something.".
