'I got detention because my teacher can't pronounce my name – it's not my fault' A student has slammed their teacher for continuously pronouncing his name wrong every day during the class register.
The student, named Johan*, explained how his teacher kept pronouncing his name as John* - and would get annoyed when he refused to answer to this moniker.
"All through this meeting my dad refers to this teacher exclusively as 'Mr Brown' despite the teacher's name not being that.
"So every day this one teacher would call out the name John.
Didn’t know the teacher that gave me the detention so I gave him a fake name and didn’t go Luckily got away with it.
