When it comes to becoming a parent, naming a child is one of the toughest tasks you may have. After all, you're stuck with it for a long time, so it's something most people want to get right. One mum-to-be recently shared a baby name that may be an option for her, but other people haven't been left so impressed.
Someone asked people what they thought about the idea on Reddit, and it didn't go down well at all. Though some people might like the unusual option, many said it could result in the little one being made fun of later down the line. When the name was posted, lots of people started to share their thoughts. It certainly got many people talking.
The person asked: "What do we think of Suede James?" Dozens of people decided to chime in with their thoughts, and it wasn't good news for the future parents. It's unclear if the person who posted it is the mum-to-be, but she admitted it's being debated as a potential name by the family. She's trying to remain impartial, but she thought it would be good to get some advice.
This is why she turned to social media for help, and she hoped people would be honest. It's fair to say they didn't hold back. One person replied: "When choosing a name, please think of the wellbeing of your child throughout all stages of life. While a name might sound ‘cute’, ‘trendy’ or ‘unique’, actually think about the ramifications of these types of names.
