Writing on Reddit on the r/offmychest thread, the anonymous woman titled her post ‘I'm having an affair with a married man.’. She then confessed: “Early 2018, after he'd been separated from his wife for some time, a guy reached out to me on social media and we started chatting.

“We got really close and after about six months, the "I love you's" started. “It was bliss, I thought it was love. About one month later, he ghosted me.”. The woman shared that after being ignored by her online love, she noticed that he and his wife had written a post online.
She continued: “He and his wife went to social media and made a very public announcement condemning any relationships they'd each fostered during the separation and said they were ready to continue their marriage.
