THE Christmas decorations will be coming down over the next few days for us all but, once they are away, our houses can seem a little empty and sad. According to experts, however, it’s the ideal time to brighten our surroundings. Research shows that people in the UK will spend 234 hours indoors during winter – so making small changes around the house to help boost joy can make a huge difference to wellbeing.
