The reason behind Scott Thomas going on Love Island All Stars has been exposed. The 36-year-old first appeared on the ITV dating programme back in 2016 and has since gone on to make a name for himself in the business world. During his sting in the second series of the programme, Scott ended up finishing in third place with ex-partner Kady McDermott. But now, it's claimed that Scott has an ulterior motive for signing up for the programme, which is due to kick off in just a matter of days.

It's reported that PR company owner Scott, who is the oldest of the 2025 cast, is returning for the All Stars series following the collapse of his separate health and fitness business. A source explained that the show has come along at the perfect time following the loss of the business. “Not only is it a payday for him going on the show, but it helps boost his profile for future business ventures. Scott's a grafter, so he always has something else up his sleeve," they told The Sun.

Scott’s business, Food4Thoughts, went into liquidation in April 2024. His brother Adam was an investor in the firm that Scott had set up with their friend, former chef Scott Graham, during lockdown, but last year the fitness, weight loss and nutrition firm was shut down after they failed to attract enough members to make it financially viable.
