ITV The Masked Singer fans 'convinced' Snail is huge X Factor star after major clue

The Masked Singer fans are convinced they know who second contestant Snail is. The ITV guessing game was back on Saturday (Jan 4) with a 12 new celebrities trying to hide their identity. Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall were joined on the panel by newcomer Maya Jama and special guest Sir Mo Farah as the sixth series kicked off in style. After Maya chose Teeth to sing first, Snail was up next, and fans are convinced they know who was behind the whacky costume, however the judges aren't quite so sure.
Davina was convinced it was Emma Willis behind the costume, whereas Mo Gilligan thought it was Love Island star Amber Davis. Mo Farah on the other hand was convinced it was Spice Girls star, Emma Bunton. Due to the character's confident and in tune rendition of Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, fans also believed it was someone with experience in singing, as detectives took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their guesses, and one name in particular kept coming up.
"Snail is Stacey Solomon!" exclaimed one, while another said: "Know everyone guesses her for everyone but snail sounds like Stacey Solomon!" Others agreed with Mo, thinking Snail was someone from a girlband. "Could Cheryl or Kimberley Walsh or Nadine Coyle be snail," said one while others guessed it could also be a member of Girls Aloud.
