Let's face it - nobody can be bothered to cook after Christmas. If you've spent the last two days living on leftover roast trimmings and boxes of chocolate, you're not the only one. But, if another turkey and stuffing sandwich drowned in gravy no longer sounds appealing, Jamie Oliver has the perfect quick-fix.

"Sometimes the simple things in life are the best, like these naughty toasty cheesy Bolognese buns," the TV chef said. Jamie's recipe is a great way to use up those fridge scraps, takes just 16 minutes to whip up, and won't leave you with a sink full of dirty pots and pans.

Ingredients (serves 4). Method. Want big news with big heart? Get the top headlines sent straight to your inbox with our Daily Newsletter. "To cook the buns in an air fryer, prep as directed above, stripping the thyme leaves into the garlic-rubbed buns before you add the cheese," Jamie added. "Place the buns, soft middles and garlic in an air fryer at 180°C in a single layer, in batches if needed. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook for four minutes, then load with Bolognese.".

Of course, if you still need to use up your Christmas veg, you have to make a cheeky side dish of bubble and squeak. This easy recipe with a cheesy twist is guaranteed to make your mouth water, and takes just 30 minutes to make. Do you have a story to share?
