An apologetic voice note by Justin Baldoni to Blake Lively has been revealed. It is said to have came after Lively appeared to complain to her co-star as she compared herself to Game of Thrones character Khaleesi. She also referred to her actor husband Ryan Reynolds and musician pal Taylor Swift as her 'dragons'.

The clip, heard for the first time publicly since the pair entered a bitter legal feud, appears to shed new light on the fallout in 2023. The issue is thought to have first arose when Lively, 37, made changes to the rooftop scene in the pair's romantic drama film, It Ends With Us. However, not all of the edits were roundly agreed on.

Text messages from April 2023 that have since been included in the $400million lawsuit filed against the actress show Lively upset at Baldoni's reaction to her ideas. The changes had already been praised by Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her best friend, Taylor Swift.

With the fallout said to have lasted a number of days, it's thought Baldoni then felt "obliged" to reach out to his co-star via a text message to try to resolve things. In it, he told her he liked her pages and, according to the complaint, he told he he "would have felt that without Ryan and Taylor".

The complaint then shared a lengthy text reply by Lively, in which she responded: "They [Reynolds and Swift] also know I'm not always good at making sure I'm seen and utilized for fear of threatening egos, or fear of affecting the ease of the process.
