The end of Katie Price and ex fiancé Carl Woods' relationship played out in front of the cameras as the pair came to blow during their attempts to have a baby through IVF. Katie, 46, ended her in vitro fertilisation (IVF) journey on a new TV show saying she felt "exhausted" with romance, after she and former Love Island star Carl, 35, called time on their on-off relationship for good after a series of rows.
The mum-of-five, whose oldest child Harvey Price is 22-years-old, was determined her first child with Carl into the world together prior to their split last year, with Channel 4 on hand to film the process for a new documentary titled, Katie Price: Making Babies.
The feature's premiere come months on from Katie and Carl calling it quits, with both parties claiming they'd rather the programme not air in the wake of their break-up. Katie, who has moved on with Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, can be seen revealing details of their split in the upcoming series.
The model and TV personality, 46, is told on the programme that she has a "couple" of eggs that can be collected, her hormone count is very low, and that she is "moving towards the menopause" by gynaecologist Carole Gilling-Smith in the Channel 4 documentary.
During the two-part show, filmed in 2023, the doctor successfully harvests two eggs, and Katie is told one egg has been fertilised, before she finds out that it is unsuccessful, and she is not pregnant. This is when cracks in her relationship with salesman Carl begin to show, and Katie says she is concerned that opting for a donor egg will leave him unhappy.
