Khloe Kardashian brands Mayor Bass 'a joke' as stars continue to lose homes in LA wildfires

A number of celebrities have criticised Los Angeles politicians as the backlash from the devastating wildfires intensifies. Wildfires have spread across the Golden State for the last six days, with tens of thousands of acres of land turning to ash and rubble. It is left many homes burned to the ground and so far killed 11 people as six separate blazes caused havoc.
Officials have warned that the barely contained Palisades, Eaton, Kenneth, Archer, Hurst and Lidia infernos will continue to spread throughout the state, wafted onwards by strong winds. Now, as fury begins to grow in the community over funding cuts in the area and how it has affected the rescue efforts, a number of celebrities have voiced their concerns. Among them are Khloe Kardashian.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to complain to her 304million followers. She shared a clip of and interview by Gigi Graciette who shared the concerns of Fire Chief Kirstin Crowley, who had hit out at the city's leadership. She had admitted it had failed those affected by the fires and prevented the LA Fire Department from effectively doing its job.
Khloe shared the interview on her Stories and wrote: "I stand by YOU Chief Crowley!!!! You spoke the truth and you had tears in your eyes because I can tell you didn't even want to say that but it was THE TRUTH!!!! Thank you for being honest @losangelesfiredepartmnet Chief Crowley. Mayor Bass you are a joke!!!!" She followed it up with a number of further posts and thanked the rescue services for their efforts.
