Logan Paul has handed Conor McGregor a huge blow amid talks of a boxing fight after the American revealed he's now 'dedicating' his life to WWE. In December, reports suggested that the Irishman in talks to fight Jake Paul's older brother. In a post uploaded to X - formerly known as Twitter - McGregor wrote: "The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.".

The potential fight - which would net both men a huge $250million - would take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, best known as a cricket venue. McGregor - a former two-division champion in the UFC - recently issued a warning to the American star, hinting that the fight is likely to take place this year.

However, it would appear that Paul has no intention of stepping foot inside the boxing ring in the near future and is solely focused on making a name for himself in the WWE. The 29-year-old was in attendance for the WWE's debut show on Netflix last night, but didn't have a match.

That said, he did open up on his future. While he wasn't in action, 'The Maverick' had a pre-taped promo - where he revealed he's determined to become a WWE 'superstar.' "But you know what really must keep you up at night? I've been so good at this," he said. "And now, I'm dedicating my life to this. No more side hustle. No more bulls***. 100 per cent WWE superstar. This is the beginning of the era of Logan Paul!".
