Jake Paul drops Conor McGregor fight hint with one-word response

Jake Paul has appeared to hint at speculation he could fight Conor McGregor by simply saying "Shhh" on social media. Paul beat legendary heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson in a lucrative boxing bout last month and the YouTuber could now be set for another money-spinning showdown against an iconic MMA fighter.
McGregor had previously claimed he was in talks to face Paul's brother Logan in an exhibition fight in India after losing his civil sexual assault case in Dublin last month as he vowed to clear his name. "The rumours of a bout with [Ilia] Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.".
Now Paul has overtaken his brother as the frontrunner to face McGregor, with ESPN claiming the Irishman will face him in either July, August or September 2025. The news comes at a time when Logan is set to move front and centre of WWE's plans for next year when they link up with Netflix. 'The Maverick' is set to make his return to sports entertainment on January 6 for Monday Night Raw.
Paul hasn't officially discussed the prospect of fighting McGregor but on the same day the speculation circulated, he wrote on Twitter saying: "Shhh.". Excited fans responded to the Tweet and suggested he was teasing the McGregor fight. One wrote: "You're fighting Conor McGregor let's go!" while another asked: "When [are] you officially announcing the McGregor fight?".
