Marcus Rashford given strict deadline to decide on dream Man Utd transfer exit

Marcus Rashford must decide if he wants to join AC Milan by Monday following talks over a loan switch. The Manchester United forward, 27, is expected to depart Old Trafford this month. And the player and his representatives have been speaking with interested clubs over the past few days, including Milan.
The Italian giants are keen on bringing Rashford in for the second half of the season - but as first revealed by The Star, they have set a deadline of Monday for him to make his mind up on the move. Rashford has not yet given the green light on the temporary switch. And with growing interest in his services from Barcelona, Milan president Paolo Scaroni is said to be running out of patience when it comes to the player making a decision.
While Barcelona would be keen to take Rashford on loan until the summer, it remains to be seen how they would finance such a deal given their well-documented financial issues. With Rashford currently earning £350,000-a-week, Barca would be reliant on United agreeing to subsidise the majority of his wages. That is unlikely to appeal to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who has already decided that Rashford will not be allowed to join a domestic rival.
Rashford expressed his desire for a new challenge last month and has already generated interest from overseas. But he has no desire to move to the Saudi Pro League or the MLS, snubbing offers from both leagues. Join the debate! Where do you think Rashford will end up? Let us know here.
