Marcus Rashford told how to resolve Man Utd feud with Ruben Amorim - 'Not that difficult'

Marcus Rashford has been told it's 'not that difficult' to resolve his ongoing feud with manager Ruben Amorim - with the wantaway star still awaiting a move away from Manchester United. The Red Devils star has made just one United squad since his last appearance on December 12, against Viktoria Plzen. Rashford has been allowed to train but has failed to impress Amorim with his application amid his desire to leave Old Trafford.
The 40-year-old United boss has not been afraid to publicly explain his reasoning for leaving Rashford out of his plans, even with the potential of putting off possible suitors in the January window. Amorim even suggested he would rather play his goalkeeper coach over Rashford. Former Premier League winner Chris Sutton believes that there is a simple solution to Rashford's problems, however. The ex-Blackburn and Celtic striker has called on the 27-year-old to stop playing up.
"It is not that difficult [to get back in favour]. But for whatever reason Marcus Rashford is playing up. Rashford does have a problem – whether you like it or not. "The other thing we all know Rashford was a wonderful footballer, and probably still is. Amorim coming out and saying these things – it is not doing Rashford any favours for people who want to sign him.". Despite player and club being willing to facilitate Rashford's exit a move has yet to be forthcoming this month. The forward's representatives have met with the likes of Barcelona, while AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund also had interest.
The player's salary has proven prohibitive, with the suggestion that sides are hoping as the window to move Rashford on narrows, United will become willing to cover a greater proportion. The transfer window has yet to provide a solution for the academy product however, and talk of his lack of application has frustrated former United players. Former captain Roy Keane does not understand Rashford's situation.
Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, a furious Keane said: “I can’t get involved in the conversation, I still can’t understand at any level. Whatever’s going on with players leaving, months left on contracts, a player who doesn’t train properly…I don’t understand it. “You might as well leave me out of this conversation. Especially if you think he wants to move, which is more of a reason to train properly so when you go to a new club you’re up to speed and when you leave the club at least you showed a decent attitude. He must be ashamed.”.
