Married At First Sight groom Eliot Donovan has only appeared on one episode of the show and he's already packing his bags. The groom throws a tantrum in a trailer for an upcoming episode of the show, which premiered on Monday night. The 25-year-old complained that his on-screen wife, Lauren Hall, at 37 was too old for him - and he wouldn't be budging on his preferences.
In the clip, the Queensland business owner packs his bags after deciding the marriage isn't for him. 'There was definitely things on my non-negotiables, right?' Eliot said. 'I wanted someone that was younger than me, preferably someone under 30' he added.

Eliot also complained that his new wife was a little too 'superficial' for his tastes due to her love of designer goods. 'There's some superficiality there, you know, I'm not into like luxury luggage' the disgruntled groom said. Lauren, also a business owner from Queensland, is two years older than her new husband - and that was too much for Eliot.
He added: 'There's just some things that I know I'm not willing to compromise on.'. Eliot has become the show's biggest villain, before the 2025 season of the Channel Nine reality program properly kicked off on Monday night. He enraged viewers during the first 20 minutes of the show when the 'egotistical' business owner outlined what he wants in a woman.
