Mary Elizabeth Winstead was seen on set of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle remake for the first time on Thursday as filming got underway in Los Angeles. The actress, 40, will star as Claire Bartel in the upcoming thriller, a role which was originally played by Annabella Sciorra in 1992's version.
Getting into character, Mary wore a casual, oversized pink jumper with a pair of light wash jeans and trainers. She wore minimal makeup and sported a new blonde hairstyle for her role as the pregnant housewife. The original follows Rebecca De Mornay as a woman named Peyton Mott who's husband kills himself after being accused of sexual misconduct by his patients.

Mary most recently starred in Disney+ TV series Ahsoka and A Gentleman In Moscow alongside her husband Ewan McGregor. The couple got candid with Variety about their on screen reunion seven years after their alleged affair scandal which rocked both of their marriages.
