If you’ve ever wondered what celebs like to order from fast food chains, you won’t have to wonder much longer. That’s because McDonald’s is bringing its ‘Famous Orders’ campaign from the US over to the UK for the very first time. In the States, stars like Travis Scott, J Balvin, Saweetie, BTS and Mariah Carey have all previously revealed their go-to menu orders for fans to try for themselves.
And now it’s time for Stormzy to follow in their footsteps, as Croydon’s finest has created his own Maccies meal – and soon you’ll be able to have exactly what he’s having too. The hot collab is based on Stormzy’s (real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr.) go-to McDonald’s order and is very imaginatively named ‘The Stormzy Meal’.
So what does a multi-award winning artist order at Maccies, you ask? Nine Chicken McNuggets and a side of fries, with two BBQ Dips. To finish off there’s a choice between the Oreo McFlurry or an Apple Pie and the whole thing gets washed down with a Sprite Zero.
There’s another surprise too – every Stormzy meal purchased in a McDonald’s restaurant, will come with a set of premium limited-edition stickers. The Stormzy Meal will be available to order from February 12 at McDonald’s locations nationwide and will cost £7.99 (prices may vary).
But if you really can’t wait until then, you’ll want to get down to a McDonald’s restaurant in the rapper’s hometown. Having grown up eating at Maccies in Croydon, the local restaurants will be paying homage to Stormzy and offer lucky fans from in, and around the area, access to the meal 48 hours early, from February 10.
