Montana Brown has confirmed she has given birth to her second child. The former Love Island star, 29, who is already mother to 17-month-old Jude, has welcomed a baby girl with her fiancé Mark O'Connor. Montana took to Instagram on Saturday and shared a photo of herself and Mark cradling their newborn who arrived early.
She wrote: 'Look who decided to show up early. Bigger than expected and a bit of a rollercoaster. 'We're over the moon and taking it all in but just glad she's healthy and happy.'. Montana revealed she planned to give birth to her baby at home despite being advised to have a C-section, she told fans earlier this month.
Montana Brown has confirmed she has given birth to her second child, a baby girl. The star was exploring giving birth privately after criticising her 'inexperienced' NHS midwives, who she claims 'lacks training'. Montana said she was advised by her NHS midwives to give birth in hospital but she has insisted she wants to follow her head and heart and stay at home.
Montana claims the reason her midwives aren't advising a home birth is because they haven't been trained to give birth to breech babies - and said that her private midwife is confident she will be able to give birth naturally, despite being breech. In a TikTok video, she said: 'So we are obviously nearing D-Day and she is still breech and for me, my mindset is on a home birth and It's really hard to find people who are supportive of a home birth especially in my position of having a breech baby.
'Which has been really really tricky because if you speak to midwives who are a little bit older and have had their training, they are quite confident at birthing breech babies because from what I've heard it's just a different form of vaginal delivery.
