Donald Trump is just hours away from officially becoming the 47th US president - and a whole host of famous faces are helping him mark the occasion. Although the official swearing-in ceremony is set to take place on Monday, 20 January after being moved indoors due to weather concerns, events have been held across the weekend to commemorate the historic event, which follows his first inauguration in 2017.
Eight years ago, Trump explained that the events would be “elegant” and “very special” and artists including country musician Toby Keith and rock band 3 Doors Down performed across the weekend. Let’s take a close look at some of those high-profile names set to take to the stage at various events this time around….
In the run up to the main event on Monday, a campaign-style rally on Sunday, 19 January will see a string of artists perform. Among those performing is Kid Rock, who is known for the song All Summer Long which peaked at the top spot in the UK Official Chart back in 2008.
In the past Kid Rock, who reportedly has a net worth of $150 million, has been a vocal supporter of the Republican Party and in July he sang at Trump’s speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention. More recently, in November he was part of Trump’s entourage at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event alongside Elon Musk.
