Viewers of Netflix have pleaded wth the big bosses to make one major change to save them time. The streaming giants have been begged to add something that users think will be a game changer - as well as saving them precious time. Currently, Netflix allows viewers to search a movie or TV show in categories or by a search bar.

However, users online have suggested a change that could help their overall experience. They also said it's already been rolled out by a number of the organisation's competitors, including Amazon. Currently, sites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb are many viewers' go-to channel for finding out whether something is worth watching. Their ratings system easily allows users to make a split second decision on whether it's going to be good or not. Now, users want Netflix to add their own ratings to their listings in a bid to stop the need to search online.

A Reddit user shared their thoughts on the idea, writing: "Netflix could include ratings from Rotten Tomatoes to save us all a web search.". The post was well received by fellow users who agreed it could be a game changer. One responded: "That would save me so much time and decision anxiety." Another user also pointed out how other platforms use this method and admitted they "love it".

And another questioned whether Netflix could create their own rating system. "I need 3 simple ratings," one user claimed. "Good, bad, and not great but you are a busy person and this movie will be worth your time.". While Netflix used to show off a star-based system, fans believe they got rid of it for a key reason despite it proving a success. One user wrote: "‘There used to be a Star system less that 10 years ago. They took it away because people weren’t watching the poorly rated [shows].".
