NETFLIX is hiding plenty of handy secrets that you've probably missed – including a secret membership club. If you're a Netflix obsessive, there are four lesser-known features that you'll definitely want to know about. Netflix profiles are a great way to make sure you and your family don't ruin each other's recommendations.

But you might find that people sneak onto your profile and ruin it. Or you might find that you don't want other people knowing what you've been watching – especially if you've rushed ahead on a show. Thankfully there's an easy to way to lock your profile so other people can't access it.

You can add a profile PIN that hides the content of your profile, so only you can log onto it. Just open up the Netflix app and go into Menu > Manage Profiles. Then choose the profile you want to edit, select the Profile Lock option, and then Create A Profile Lock.

You'll be able to enter four numbers to make a Profile Lock PIN. Save it and your profile will be protected – unless you decide to delete the Profile Lock in the future. Another little-known trick is filling out the Netflix request form. It lets you ask (and potentially even beg) for Netflix to add TV shows or movies.

You only get to pick three, so choose wisely. Once you've sent it, Netflix will consider your request and decide to add it or not. "If you've already submitted a request, you can sit back and relax – we've received your feedback," Netflix said. "We can't respond to individual requests, but you can keep up on new titles coming to Netflix by following us on social media and signing up for our 'Now on Netflix' emails.".
