A new mom was left stunned after she spotted an unexpected detail in a clip of her home birth - and the amazing moment is taking the internet by storm. The clip showed the aftermath of Gerber having a home birth in a blow-up tub in her bedroom, as she cradled and cuddled with her newborn baby.

However, what she didn't realize was that her adorable pup, Penny, was standing right behind her the entire time. The three-year-old dog, which looked to be a Goldendoodle, could be seen hanging behind his owner in the clip, and leaning over the top of the tub.
And, once the baby finally let out a cry, the dog started to sniff Gerber from the back of the bath. Penny also followed dad as he brought the couple's older child from the other room to meet the new addition to the family. Speaking to People, Gerber explained that even though she was prepared for a home birth, her labor progressed quite quickly, and she ended up giving birth to the newborn 20 minutes before her midwife could even arrive.
