Madeleine West has revealed the bizarre moment a stranger asked her if her baby bump is real. The pregnant Neighbours star, 45, explained on Instagram on Friday how she was stopped and asked about her bump when she visited a local supermarket. 'Just popped into Aldi for some of their finest Belgian chocolate, and a complete stranger waltzed up proclaiming "is that even REAL?" before proceeding to grab my belly,' she began.
'Now it has been brought to my attention that a rumour is doing the rounds that my belly "looks a bit fake".'. 'So in response, and to save myself any future awkwardness in the confectionery aisle, I'm letting it all hang out and perhaps most importantly… letting it all go.'. Madeleine went on to say that she is 'proud of what our amazing bodies can do'. Madeleine West (pictured) has revealed the bizarre moment a stranger asked her if her baby bump is real.
'What others think of me is not my business…I'm too busy over here making eyebrows, laughing at myself and chasing waterfalls. Cos if the world gets you down, chuck your worries in a waterfall and watch it all wash away,' she continued. 'And hey…. Just as a general courtesy, before you lay hands on ANYONE'S BODY, at ANY TIME, please ask first!'. Madeleine announced earlier this month she was pregnant with her seventh child - a decade on from her most recent birth.
The star revealed the surprising news in an Instagram post. In the photo, the brunette displayed her growing baby bump in a tight-fitting tank top that was lifted to reveal her bare tummy. 'WHOOPS!' she captioned her post. 'Thought it was #perimenopause. I thought WRONG!'. 'It's not too much Christmas pudding either. I couldn't be happier. 'Not too sure about the title 'Geriatric mum' but here we are, and I'm winding back a little to grow this little surprise package I've dubbed. (Baby number 7, couldn't help myself).
The pregnant Neighbours star explained on Friday how she was stopped and asked about her bump when she visited a local supermarket. 'I don't have much more to say right now, but I've noticed I don't hear much about older parents. l know you must be out there. Seems we are invisible.'. The actress sought advice for a mother in her 40s from her followers as she prepares for her seventh birth. 'So if you're expecting later than expected, and tackling early in your 40s or 50s, I'd LOVE hear your stories,' she added.
