Nicole Scherzinger was supported by Jane Fonda as a host of celebrities attended her latest Broadway performance on Wednesday. The singer, 46, is curenlty starring as Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's reimagined of Sunset Boulevard at The St. James Theatre in New York City.

Nicole recently posted a poignant throwback clip sharing her wishes to become a theatre star - 16 years before going on to have a successful Broadway stint. The former Pussycat Dolls singer could be seen filming the music video for her band's hit When I Grow Up - across the road from the Broadway theatres in New York back in 2008.

Looking fresh-faced she says in the clip: 'It's so crazy because growing up I thought I'd be doing that, that I'd be on that side of the street not on this side of the street. 'But one day I'll make it back home to the stage again, I miss it...'. The video then showed snippets of her on stage in Sunset Boulevard and getting ready behind the scenes - illustrating how she had made it.
