Comedian and TV presenter Noel called it a day on the show, with a source telling The Times: "Noel has said that he can't film anymore and so there was no choice but to stop.".
Apple TV+ pulled the plug on the sitcom, which focused on the 18th century highwayman, last week after Noel was taken ill, reportedly much to the disappointment of fellow crew members.
The Sun has reported that over 100 cast and crew members were mulling legal action against the show's producers after the sudden cancellation mid-production.
They reported that while there was deep concern for Noel's health and while the decision to leave was not made lightly, it hasn't been met with universal approval.
