Non-verbal woman missing on birthday after London trip as police search launched

A vulnerable woman who is autistic and non-verbal has vanished during a theatre trip to central London, amid fears she has no warm clothing. Aziza Daley, who celebrates her 37th birthday today, was last seen leaving the Cambridge Theatre in Seven Dials, Covent Garden at about 3.30pm on Saturday. Aziza is autistic, non-verbal and known to enjoy open spaces. Police are concerned as it is feared she spent last night out in the cold and without a coat.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers are concerned for her welfare. It is possible she has now been out all night, in very cold temperatures, without a coat or other warm clothing. “Urgent enquiries are ongoing to try to find Aziza. Officers have released an image and a short clip taken not far from where she was last seen. It shows what she was wearing at the time. Anyone who sees Aziza is urged to call 999.”.
