Scott Thomas and Marcel Sommerville are making their return to the villa for Love Island All Stars. Series two star Scott - who is the brother of soap legends Adam and Ryan Thomas - will become one of the oldest ever Love Island contestants, when he heads back into the villa for a second chance at love at the age of 36.

Marcel, who was in the third series of Love Island, is also hoping to find love this time around at the age of 39. Speaking about joining the show, he said: "I thought that I’d completed love and found my happily ever after – but the universe had a different plan. Somehow every time my life’s at a crossroads, I’ve got the opportunity to do Love Island. So I thought, why not?".

Scott also admitted he had been on a "massive" journey in the past few years. Asked why he wants to return, he said: "I’ve been on a massive journey over the last five years; I’ve been working on sobriety, personal growth, self development, when I first went into the Villa I was still a bit of a boy… I feel like I finally know who I am. It might sound cheesy, but I’m ready to settle down and I’ve never been open to saying those words. Where better than Love Island?".

"Also watching Sophie (Piper) and Josh (Ritchie) from All Stars 1 having belly laughs was great as well.". Last year, Scott told OK! that he was "gutted" he had declined an initial invite to appear on the first series of All Stars. "I was gutted I didn't do it in the end. They asked me to do it and I was thinking 'I'm too old,'" he said, "I think I would've been the oldest in the villa because I was 27 when I did it the first time in 2016. And it's funny, because, Kady [McDermott] went back on last year and she was the same age that I was when I did it the first time.".
