Love Island's Scott Thomas 'wouldn't rule out' rekindling with ex Kady McDermott in the villa

It's been nine years since Scott Thomas first walked into the Love Island villa, and a lot has changed. He's "been on this mad journey of sobriety, personal growth, self-development," but there's one thing still missing in his life, love. "I'm 36, it's the one area of my life I seem to struggle with, finding the missus," he told the Mirror and other press. Scott first entered the villa as a 27-year-old in 2016, during the second series of Love Island where he found love with Kady McDermott. However, it wasn't meant to be as the pair went their separate ways over a year after leaving the villa. "It didn't end in the best way possible," Scott said.
Despite this, the star would 'never say never' to rekindling with his ex, if she were to walk through the villa doors as a bombshell. Speaking on whether he'd go there if there was still a spark, Scott said: "I just don't know. I don't want to sit here and say NO CHANCE, and then the next minute... you don't know. What happens in Love Island.. you don't understand that place.
"It was nine years ago since we were on that show. She's obviously grown up a lot, I'm a complete different person. I don't know. I said I'm going to give everyone a chance. I don't know if she's going to go in or not, but I'd probably be most worried about her being in there because it's a bit of a mad experience seeing your ex. But at the same time, I'd be open to just having a chat.".
Kady herself has had two stints in the Love Island villa. The alum returned as a bombshell during season ten of the ITV2 dating show, where she formed a connection with Zachariah Noble. However, the shock return of Molly Marsh while the girls were away in Casa Amor meant that connection was no more. The star then left the villa coupled up with Casa Amor boy Ouzy See, although it wasn't long before the pair called it quits on the outside.
