One natural item works better than vinegar to remove oven grease

Oven cleaning can be a tedious task, especially without the right products. Although many cleaning experts swear by white vinegar and baking soda for oven cleaning, one woman has found a more effective natural solution, which has been backed by cleaning enthusiasts.
Becca Dwyer shared a photo of her mum's grimy oven door on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips and Tricks Facebook group and revealed the secret to making it shine again. She wrote: "Hi. This is the glass from my mother's oven door I was cleaning her oven today as she can't bend down. I've tried Pink Stuff paste, Elbow Grease cream, dishwasher tablets, aerial pods also baking soda and vinegar but nothing shifted it.".
Despite many online tips recommending baking soda and vinegar paste for oven cleaning, Becca found it didn't work on stubborn oven glass grime. Instead, she tried soda crystals, which worked much better than anything else she'd tried, leaving the oven door sparkling.
Dri-Pak specialists agreed that with Becca's advice, explaining: "One thing that isn't really the best solution, despite lots of internet tips, is to use bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar. The effect will be reduced because the acidic white vinegar is neutralising the alkalinity of the baking soda and it's that which dissolves the grease.".
Instead, the specialists advocate for the use of soda crystals, which are considerably better at getting rid of grime and caked-on food. According to advice shared by experts, "Soda crystals are excellent for dissolving grease and working on stubborn, burnt-on food.".
