A Brit has shared a travel hack that could save you money on your ZARA shopping trip, whilst also getting a holiday in Spain. In a video on Instagram, Rob Adcock detailed a travelling tip that can save ZARA fans tens of pounds on clothes, as well as enjoying a European city. Rob explained: "It's cheaper to fly to Spain and back, to get that piece you've got your eye on, than buy it from your local store. Because Zara is a Spanish company, everything is just loads cheaper in Spain.".

The video then shows Rob entering a ZARA store in Madrid, where he picks up a men's coat which is £149 on the ZARA UK site, but is €129 in the Madrid store, which converts to around £108.19. He picks up another jacket which is on the UK market for £80, but in Madrid costs €69.95 (£58.67).

Additionally, he explained: "Because you are taking the clothes out of the country and back home, you can claim tax back up to 15 per cent.". He goes on to give the example of a coat that costs £169 in the UK. In Spain, it costs €149, which is around £124.98. You can then claim 15 per cent back in tax, which takes the price down to around £108. Claiming tax back can usually be done at airports.

Whilst the hack is not the most environmentally friendly trick - given how polluting even a short plane ride is - it is worth noting for when you do go on holiday to Spain. Instead of buying clothes from ZARA stores in the UK, you can create a wishlist and then purchase them on your next trip to Spain.
