Sonic Frontiers is the highlight of this month’s lineup of games, which are all available to download and play for PS Plus Extra and Premium members. The open-world title is one of the most recent additions to the Sonic franchise, and came out at the end of 2022.

Its PlayStation version launched to generally favourable reviews, and according to review aggregator Metacritic, players liked it more than critics. Forspoken is another big game with a shaky launch that’s coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium this month.

The action RPG didn’t get a warm welcome when it released, with reviewers criticising its combat, story, and writing, while being positive about its interesting parkour system. As the game is coming to PS Plus, players can try it out for themselves, to see if it deserves the average to lowly review scores.

Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly are also being added to PlayStation’s subscription service. The two visual novels offer coffee lovers some nice slice-of-life stories in a very cosy setting. Customers come to your coffee shop and order drinks that you then make for them while they tell you their stories.
