This year's title is Ghostrunner 2, a critically acclaimed sequel that has won an overall rating of 80 out of 100 on Metacritic. The 2023 release also has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam. The fast-paced action game throws players into a post-apocalyptic world where they continue the story from the first game: Ghostrunner.

There are roughly 10 to 12 hours of gameplay in the campaign. It is packed with new enemy types and mechanics, including motorcycle sections where gamers can play out the anime-inspired chases of their dreams. "For the people that will complain that it's a repeat, the repeat was the first game and it's a masterpiece.".

Another added: "Finally a real masterpiece game.". The deal is only valid for 24hours after it first went live - meaning gamers only have until 4pm on 27 December to claim. You can grab Ghostrunner 2 for free from the Epic Games Store here. If you end up missing the deal - don't worry.

While it won't be free, both the PlayStation and Xbox stores have reduced Ghostrunner 2 from £34.99 to just £8.74. PlayStation owners have until midnight on 6 January to claim the 75% off deal. While Xbox players have until 2 January to claim. It's important to note Ghostrunner 2 is rated PEGI 18 due to strong language and violence.
