PlayStation Plus January 2025 monthly games revealed

Sony PlayStation has revealed the trio of games coming to PlayStation Plus subscribers in January, and they include one of the best indie games around and one of 2024’s big flops. The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered are the new crop of PlayStation Plus games. All are playable on PS4 and PlayStation 5 other than Suicide Squad, which requires the newer console.
These are your monthly Essential games, available to all levels of PlayStation Plus subscriber, and they will be unlocked on Tuesday, January 7. As ever, this is also your final reminder to pick up December’s games. They are It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent and TemTem.
If you have any interest in playing these at some point, you should claim them now as they will be available to play as long as you have an active PlayStation Plus membership. The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is the most interesting of these new PlayStation Plus games. It’s a reworking of a beloved indie title from 2013.
You explore what initially appears to be an office building, as a narrator talks over your actions, appearing to react to what you do. Everyone else in the office has disappeared, and your task is to find out what happened. While you can reach a conclusion in just a few minutes, there are many branching paths. The original had 19 endings, while the Ultra Deluxe version has an additional 24. This is an experience you won’t forget, and one you can dig into for just an hour or so.
