After a little bit of a delay, it’s time to get back on track with a new PS Plus delivery of games, and to say we’re excited would be something of an understatement. Hopes are high that the new PS Plus drop from Sony, specifically that for Extra and Premium subscribers, is going to be a belter after the PS Plus January Essential delivery let many fans down. The arrival of The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe was a pleasant surprise, but for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to appear as the headliner of the drop after it has already confirmed that it’s winding down its ongoing content has been frustrating for some, especially those who believed in the game at launch only for it to hit the deck so quickly. Sony could do with reeling it back in, and if our predictions are correct, then it'll be doing it in a big way.
Our PS Plus Extra and Premium January predictions found that the remake of Resident Evil 4 could be making an appearance on the anniversary of the arrival of Resident Evil 2 on the service, and if it does end up on PS Plus, then fans of survival horror are going to be thrilled. The game is perhaps the slickest that Capcom has ever produced, and it would make for a barnstorming AAA addition to the service.
