PS Plus is back for another month, and it is delivering on fan expectations with the arrival of God of War: Ragnarok and Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. After a short wait that likely felt like years for subscribers, the PS Plus late drop has been and gone, and we finally know the contents of the PS Plus Extra and Premium games drop for January 2025. It's a nice reward for subscribers yet again, who seem to have their shoulders up all of a sudden as the PS Plus Essential January drop came with a game that has already packed its bags.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League headlined the game delivery after it had announced that it would be ceasing its live service elements, leading to a lot of frustrated players feeling short-changed, especially as the game has already been made free on Prime Gaming as part of its Prime Day gaming delivery. Still, at least The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe is a nice touch.
What's most important to many, though, is the collection of games coming to the PS Plus Extra and Premium drop in January 2025, delivering a mound of games that players will be able to play at no extra cost. The PS Plus Extra and Premium December drop delivered the likes of Sonic Frontiers and Forspoken, and fans are hoping that Sony can go above and beyond with its first delivery of games for the tiers of the year.
Though our predictions for January's drop might have pointed to Resident Evil 4, it seems that PlayStation had a few other titles in mind – but that doesn't mean we're out of luck regarding quality. Here's everything in the PS Plus Extra and Premium January 2025 drop.
