Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley is set to appear in her own reality show. The businesswoman and TV personality who found fame in the early noughties found herself on the cover of almost every magazine. Back in 2003, she found herself being named in FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in the World," on several occasions. But in more recent years, Tanya has made a name for herself as one of the original cast members of the ITVBe show, documenting the lives of the women in Cheshire's affluent Golden Triangle.
Tanya burst onto screens back in 2015 with pals Leanne Ward, Lauren Simon and Ampika Pickston but made the decision to step away in 2021 in order to focus on herself after suffering with her mental health. Despite this, she's appeared as a guest housewife, joining her friends on their various outings.
Now – fans will get to see her in a different light, away from the dramas of Cheshire's heated dinner parties and an insight into her new business, Haus of CEO and she's finally persuaded her Manchester United legend husband Phil to take part. It was reported in 2022 that the couple had been headhunted by TV bosses but Phil, who is now assistant manager of Macclesfield FC had hesitations.
Speaking to the Mirror, a TV source said: "The family are really excited about the show, it'll show them in a completely new light. Phil has always said he would never do reality and briefly appeared on Housewives so they'll get to see the real Phil Bardo away from the pitch.
"Bosses at ITV are also mega excited about signing the family and fans will see more behind the scenes chaos." The programme will air on ITV in the coming months. Fans of Tanya often see her sharing a glimpse of her chaotic life which involves often following her sons, Rocco, Renz and Ralphi around the country for their football matches.
