Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is coming to terms with the fact that dressing room leaks remain an issue after a tale of him smashing a television made it into the media. Issues around team news leaks had plagued the Portuguese early in his tenure, with the starting XI for the Manchester Derby circulating on social media. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were notable absentees for the game against Manchester City, with neither player part of Amorim's matchday squad.

United still won that game, with Bruno Fernandes and Amad completing a late turnaround, The leaks remained a concern, though, and it would later emerge that Amorim's decision to address the issue publicly helped bring it to an end. While team news leaks have taken a back seat, other inside information is still getting out. The latest example came in the form of the TV smashing story, which came to light after Sunday's defeat to Brighton.

On Tuesday, The Athletic reported that the television - which United use to display tactics before matches - was "caught as collateral" as Amorim tore into his squad. The publication cites multiple sources, though it is unclear whether said individuals were present for the incident or heard of it second-hand.

Either way, the inner goings-on from within the United dressing room have made it out into the wider world. Amorim might have helped bring a stop to the earlier team news leaks, but the latest episode emphasises someone is still allowing information to get out.
