Ruben Amorim gets his wish after public comments on Man Utd team news leaks

Ruben Amorim has seen his team leaks dry up after the Manchester United manager called it out. The new manager saw his team sheet for the Manchester derby leaked 24 hours before the contest at the Etihad last month - and has made moves to stop the news leaking out. His public frustration looks to have had an impact with the line-ups no longer filtering out.
United were frustrated that Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho were deemed the culprits and persuaded both men not to come out and defend themselves publicly, according to the Daily Mail. The social media accounts that were regularly leaking the team news have since gone quiet, which is perhaps as a result of Amorim's words, but also due to fan backlash with supporters knowing that leaks reduce the team's chances of winning.
The United boss had claimed that the leaks were "impossible to fix" due to the amount of people who were being exposed to the team sheet. He said: “I know that story. I don’t know, I think it’s impossible to fix nowadays because you have a lot of people in the club, the players talk with agents. I don’t know, you can talk with friends, so it’s hard to know. It’s not a good thing but let’s move on and go to the next one and see if they find the next starting XI.”.
A number of members of United's squad believe they know the source of recent team news leaks, it has been claimed. United's Manchester Derby XI was shared on social media the day before the match, with the headline being the omission of senior stars Marcus Rashford and Garnacho.
