Sara Sharif’s murderous father has been moved to a top-security prison nicknamed ‘Monster Mansion’ which is home to some of Britain’s worst killers and criminals. Urfan Sharif, 43, is currently serving a 40-year sentence after he and partner Beinash Batool, 30, killed 10-year-old Sara following a sickening two year campaign of torture and abuse.

Following his sentencing, reports emerged that Sharif had been attacked in his cell by two inmates at HMP Belmarsh on New Year’s Day, who slashed his throat with a tuna can lid. The murderer was left in critical condition but survived the incident, and has since been transferred to HMP Frankland, where he reportedly spends his days ‘cowering’ in his cell.

Frankland prison, home to killers such as Ian Huntley, Wayne Couzens and Levi Bellfield, is one of the most notorious prisons in the country, and has earned the nickname ‘Monster Mansion’ due to the large number of serial killers, terrorists and rapists housed there.

A source told the Sun: ‘The prisoners were all locked up when Sharif was brought in this week, so no-one could get to him. ‘But it was obvious something big was happening – and word soon got round about who he was. ‘Child killers are the lowest of the low, even at a place like Frankland.
