Shotgun-wielding Ukrainian drone takes out three Russian rivals

A newly developed Ukrainian drone with an unexpected secret weapon has filmed itself blasting three Russian drones out of the sky – before firing on a human target. Far from the scientific frontier of warfare, this UAV uses a built-in shotgun to inflict damage on its targets.
The gear may not be flashy, but it appears to work with top-notch efficiency in the right hands. A video from the air above a Ukrainian battlefield shows shots from the aerial robot knocking out three rival drones, one after the other. It then turns to what appears to be a soldier walking on the ground below and fires at them.
To make sure the target is dead, the drone then throws a grenade at them. It is believed to be the first time such a drone has been seen used against an enemy combatant. Ukraine has not revealed the type of drone involved in the attack. The footage, filmed in the Kharkiv region, demonstrates the deadly power that can be inflicted by remote control from a great distance away using the latest military tech.
Andriy Tsaplienko, a Ukrainian military journalist, said: ‘The Ukrainian drone shoots down three Russian Mavics with a shotgun, then shoots at the invader with the same shotgun and finishes him off with a grenade.’. A similar clip of a Ukraine-made drone taking down Russian aerial threats with buck shot was released last month.
