Starbucks is changing its loyalty scheme — and it’ll be easier to get free coffee Starbucks fans, a big change is coming to the coffee chain’s loyalty scheme later this week, and it’ll impact the stars you’ve been collecting.
At 300 stars (£30), customers can claim selected bakery items such as pastries, cookies, muffins or loaf cakes, and for 500 stars you’ll receive a free handcrafted beverage, of any size and with any modifications.
In the UK, the company is introducing an improved version of Starbucks Rewards, which they claim will give ‘customers more freebies, flexibility and choice than ever before’.
The first tier starts from 130 stars, which you’ll hit after spending £13 at Starbucks.
This doesn’t need to be spent all in one go, it keeps adding up each time you buy a drink, as long as you scan your Rewards QR code at the till, or order through your app.
