Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Katya Jones has broken her silence after Wynne Evans was axed from the live tour. After Wynne revealed he agreed with the BBC to step back from the tour, she took to her Instagram Stories to write over his post: "Let's show humanity and consideration. I will miss you my darling boy.".

Wynne confirmed the axe and agreed with the BBC to “take some time out” from his radio show and the Strictly Come Dancing live tour “to prioritise my wellbeing”. He said in a statement: “I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.

"I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me.”.

Wynne, who turned 53 on Monday, was nowhere to be seen as the stars left their hotel ahead of the live show tonight. It broke earlier in the week that the Go Compare advert star had made a vile sexual remark at his co-star while at the launch of the tour in Birmingham.

He was filmed making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette Manrara, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group. He was heard singing: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He then was heard using the demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act.
