Teacher killed and five students injured in freak car accident after school concert A young preschool teacher was fatally run over by two cars and five students were injured in the freak accident after a school holiday concert.
A mother picking up her kids after the holiday event accelerated without knowing or intending to and struck another car, pushing both vehicles onto a fence where Rosales and children were playing, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department.
Alexia Rosales, 22, was struck by two vehicles and pinned under one of them as children were being picked up from Excelled Montessori Plus in Texas on Thursday afternoon, reported News 4 San Antonio.
Sheriff Javier Salazar said the accident is not believed to have been criminal in nature.
At least five kids were transported to a hospital and were in precautionary to grave conditions, he said.
