The Masked Singer fans have ‘rumbled’ the true identity of Pufferfish. The wildest programme on TV made its return to screens on Saturday night (February 1) - with the remaining masked celebs taking to the stage to show off their vocal chops. The likes of Bush, Dressed Crab, Wolf, Kingfisher and Snail all performed a slew of hits as they attempted to foil their true identity. Joel Dommett was back to host, as well as judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama and Mo Gilligan, who joined forces to deduce the identities of celebrities hidden beneath elaborate costumes.
So far, fans have witnessed the unveiling of Toad In The Hole as Macy Gray, Pegasus as Prue Leith, Spag Bol as Kate Garraway, Carol Decker as as Tattoo and Mel Giedroyc revealed as Teeth. However, fans had a lot to say when it came to Pufferfish during the latest instalment. So far, the beloved character has become a firm favourite, often showing off their incredible vocal chops. In their VT on Saturday night (February 1), one clue showed a photo of Coronation Street legend Helen Worth - who played Gail Platt. And as for their performance, the masked celeb performed a jaw-dropping rendition of Don’t Rain on My Parade.
Afterwards, Jonathan Ross mused how Pufferfish could be Jodie Pregner who appears on Coronation Street. She joined the soap in 2022 and plays Glenda Shuttleworth. And while some fans online thought the same, other viewers reckon it’s another soap favourite: Kym Marsh - who played Michelle Connor on Corrie from 2006 to 2019. Over on X, one person said: “Pufferfish is kym marsh or Jodie prenger.” A second viewer wrote: “Either Kym Marsh or Jodie Prenger is Pufferfish.” A third chimed in: “Pufferfish is definitely Kym.".
