Winning The Traitors is no small feat, but for Leanne Quigley, it’s been a whirlwind of emotions, secrets, and life-changing moments. For Leanne, 28, the castle wasn’t just a game—it was a temporary escape from her life as an army recruit. The mum of two, who recently triumphed on the hit reality show, walking away with a staggering £94,600 split between her and fellow faithful Jake Brown, opened up one thing that she just couldn’t take about being on the show.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, she said: “I realised I could never be a Traitor. My heart just couldn’t take it.”. For the past three weeks, viewers have been gripped by the hit BBC show - which returned for a third season. Leanne was one of the Faithful contestants on this year's series. Viewers have seen her deceivingly lie about her job in an attempt to hide her military skills. But beyond the bright pink suit and blonde locks, Leanne is a tough cookie to crack.
She won the show alongside friend Jake - with both of them deciding to banish Frankie and Alexander in the final moments. The group managed to banish Traitor Charlotte after the Seer twist - but in a twist, winners Leanne and Jake banished their fellow Faithfuls Alexander and Frankie despite them all being in the game.
She and Jake took the prize in a tense final where they voted out two other Faithfuls, having unknowingly banished the last Traitor, Charlotte Berman. Charlotte had come under suspicion after fellow Traitor Freddie Fraser, who she had betrayed, voted for her – and had to fight to survive after Faithful Frankie Rowan-Plowden became a “seer” and learned her identity.
