The truth behind a ‘secret relationship’ theory between two stars of The Traitors has been exposed. Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow is full of manipulation, lies and blistering betrayals and so far, several of the contestants have revealed to viewers that they are not who they seem.

Lisa Coupland eventually confessed to her fellow players that she is a really an ordained Anglican priest, while Leanne Quigley is hiding behind the façade of being a nail technician, when she’s actually a veteran. The biggest (and wildest) lie – aside from who the Traitors actually are, of course – is Charlotte Berman, pretending to be Welsh so she can seem more ‘trustworthy’.

But fans think there’s another secret that has yet to come to light, and it has to do with a link between the players. In season one, we had the dramatic ‘red breakfast’ reveal where Tom Elderfield and Alex Gray confessed to the others that they were secretly in a relationship, and last year, we had the Bafta-worthy moment from Diane Carson where she told viewers that Paul Gorton wasn’t her son, ‘But Ross is…’.
