BBC The Traitors fans blown away as star uncovers dramatic 'power play move'

Fans of The Traitors have known that Lisa is a priest from the first episode, but on Thursday's show she revealed her profession to the remaining Faithfuls and Traitors, shocking them all. After a tense mission in which the Traitors contestants tried to earn extra money for the prize pot by outwitting some scary looking clowns, the remaining players returned to the castle and once again had a stressful evening at the round table trying to decide which one amongst them was a Traitor. Unfortunately, they got it wrong again, banishing Faithful Tyler instead of either of the real Traitors, Minah and Linda.
However, during the round table debate a new player came briefly under suspicion, and it was 62 year old Lisa. A couple of the players thought she may be a Traitor, simply because they heard her say "As God is my witness" earlier in the game. So when everyone returned to the main rooms of the castle to mingle and go over the day's events, she decided it would be the best time to reveal her profession, partly to prove that she was definitely a Faithful.
"I need to tell you all something," she said to the assembled group. "A lot of people have questioned the reason why I said 'As God is my witness.' I am an ordained Anglican priest, I'm ordained and I would never, ever take God's name in vain. The oath I took as a priest means I cannot deceive and I cannot be treacherous, but that lays me wide open now to be murdered. So if I don't see you tomorrow, I love you all!".
Viewers were thrilled that she finally revealed she was a priest, with one saying: "Lisa dropping the bombshell of the priest thing," while another added: "Massive power play from Lisa. And the obvious ploy is to murder her now, but it’s too obvious!" Fans also loved Lisa's response when some of her fellow game players questioned why she was telling them now, to which she replied: "Because what self-respecting murder mystery doesn't have a priest?".
