A Ukrainian sniper responsible for the deaths of dozens of rifles has spoken of using an armour-piercing rifle to get her kills, as she no longer has "inhibitions". Nicknamed Chili, the single mum uses the same Barrett .50 calibre gun favoured by the tough soldiers of the SAS and US Navy Seals. Her weapon is capable of punching a hole through her country’s enemy’s armour.
Her successes on the battlefield however have come at a personal cost however, as she says she may be unable to return to her previous life, the Sun reported. She said: “The sniper’s task is to disarm the enemy. It doesn’t matter whether you kill or maim him.
“I have two brothers. They both went abroad while I went to serve in the army. I don’t communicate with them now. I don’t care how they live. “I know how I am living now and why I am doing it. I have a ten-year-old son, he also knows where I am and what I am doing. He is waiting for me at home. I explain the situation, that it is necessary, that I must be here. But he is a child. He wants a mother.
“The main reason I came here is so that my son doesn’t end up in the trenches one day. I’d rather do it, so he can live a normal life.”. Earlier this year a woman crowned Ukraine's deadliest sniper warned Vladimir Putin he will be assassinated by his own bodyguards. Olena Bilozerska, 44, became a national hero in her home country after terrifying footage showed her slaughtering two Russian soldiers from distance.
