For those in need of a sunny escape to banish the winter blues, listen up. Benidorm could be the place to book – as a TikToker called Harry had some "very important" advice for those thinking of visiting. While you may expect lots of clouds during winter, he warned people to pack their sun protection. Failing to do so could lead to you getting nasty sunburns.

Broadcasting from the British holiday hotspot, he shared: "If you've not worked out where I am, I'm at the pharmacy and we're going to do our weather update. It's pretty much five o'clock here in Benidorm and today it's been gorgeous. "As you can see, I'm wearing a T-shirt and definitely shorts weather. So, if you're coming out to Benidorm, make sure to pack T-shirts and shorts, because you are going to need them, and definitely some sun cream as well.".

Temperatures reached a remarkable 27°C – and Harry was surprised to escape without a bit of sunburn. And it's safe to say people were chuffed with his weather update. One responder said: "I'm coming over in May. Just can't wait." Another pleaded: "Keep it like that for February 7! ". And a third person posted: "[I'm going in the] first week of March, hurry up!".

Even though the weather looks amazing in Benidorm at the moment, temperatures are rather unusual for this time of year. If you plan on visiting in the coming weeks, you may not get as lucky. Benidorm typically experiences mild winter weather due to its location on Spain's Mediterranean coast. Average daytime temperatures usually range between 12°C (54°F) and 17°C (63°F), while nighttime temperatures can drop to around 6°C (43°F). Rainfall is relatively low, with an average of 4–5 rainy days in the month, and the town enjoys plenty of sunshine, with around 6 hours of sunshine per day.
